Setting Social Media Goals
I made a post about setting Social Media goals on Instagram earlier today, and I wanted to dig into that a bit deeper. When setting Social Media Goals it is important to keep a few things in mind. The most important of those things is to be realistic and don't make it all about the goals.
When most people come to me to help with their Social Media goals they usually have a goal to get more likes, or more interaction with their followers, something along those lines.
Which is 100% okay, we want to have goals to strive towards.
The problem is when that becomes our main focus.
Our main focus needs to be spreading our message and connecting with our followers. If you do that then you will naturally gain more followers and meet your other Social Media goals.
Remeber that your followers follow you because something you said or did resonated with them. They connect with you and your message on some level. To keep them engaged with your content you need to keep posting content that resonates with them.
At the end of the day as long as you are being authentic to yourself and you are incorporating your passion into your social media posts then you will continue to attract those people who resonate with your message.
Keep these four things in mind and you will kill your social media goals!
*Focus on sharing your message and what is in your heart.
*Stay authentic to yourself and your brand.
*Your followers will respond to what resonates with them.
*Post consistently but always make sure your posts are genuine.

Setting goals is indeed very important. Thanks for the tips and info!
ReplyDeleteNo problem! I am glad you enjoyed it.
DeleteStaying true is so important when it comes to who you are. If you start to sway your readers will never really know the true you, and if you can't be real with them who can you be true with?
ReplyDeleteExactly! Our readers follow us because they are interested in what we have to say.
DeleteMy social media stats were really suffering until I started making daily goals and started keeping a notebook. Now my blog my blog stats and social media stats have greatly improved.
ReplyDeleteMaking daily goals is an excellent strategy!
DeleteThis is really great advice, setting goals on social media is really important to your brand I think.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSetting goals is definitely really important when considering social media. For me, my goals include creating a sense of community amongst my followers and creating a discussion on travel (I run the travel account @wanderousaffair, as well as have my own travel magazine that features travel writers from around the world). :-)
ReplyDeleteI think that is a wonderful goal!
DeleteThis article is very on point. I don't really have goals for my social media. I just don't want them to drop or become stagnant. My goal is to come up with more steady content. As I work on myself I'm hoping that positive content comes along.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Making sure you are posting regularly is a great place to start.
DeleteThis is really important. I often hear, "I want more activity on social media." Well what does that look like?
ReplyDeleteThat is a really good point! Activity levels may look different depending on what kind of account it is (is it for an online business, a brick and brick and mortar, a blog, a public figure, ect). It also will depend on what kinds of posts you are posting. If you ever want to talk about your social media accounts, feel free to send me an email!
DeleteI have many social media goals for 2018! I am particularly focusing on engagement as of now and finding ways to involve my followers with my posts.
ReplyDeleteGreat read, this is something I've been thinking about a lot lately as I am trying to grow my Instagram. I just started using the platform, and like many people, find the algorithm and "follow/unfollow" culture quite frustrating. I wish we could weed out those who engage in social media game-playing and keep interactions more genuine.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that easy to maintain your presence in social media. Those four things that you mentioned can definitely help. It's not just about being consistent but being true to your heart as well.
ReplyDeleteI use social media for no other reason than to connect on a personal level with my readers. That makes it easy for me to stay focused on what I'm trying to accomplish there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post, such a great post,i really like it,Thanks for sharing. Social media tool are very useful..

Yeah I totally agree that Setting Social Media Goals is highly important thing in order to connect to right audience for your log/website. Among all of the social media websites, FB is having the most popularity in the marketing world. Even I had hired the best facebook ads management services and got great results.
