Setting Social Media Goals

I made a post about setting Social Media goals on Instagram earlier today, and I wanted to dig into that a bit deeper. When setting Social Media Goals it is important to keep a few things in mind. The most important of those things is to be realistic and don't make it all about the goals.
When most people come to me to help with their Social Media goals they usually have a goal to get more likes, or more interaction with their followers, something along those lines.
Which is 100% okay, we want to have goals to strive towards.
The problem is when that becomes our main focus.
Our main focus needs to be spreading our message and connecting with our followers. If you do that then you will naturally gain more followers and meet your other Social Media goals.
Remember that your followers follow you because something you said or did resonated with them. They connect with you and your message on some level. To keep them engaged with your content you need to keep posting content that resonates with them.
At the end of the day as long as you are being authentic to yourself and you are incorporating your passion into your social media posts then you will continue to attract those people who resonate with your message.
Keep these four things in mind and you will kill your social media goals!
*Focus on sharing your message and what is in your heart.
*Stay authentic to yourself and your brand.
*Your followers will respond to what resonates with them.
*Post consistently but always make sure your posts are genuine.
